Ohio grasses such as Kentucky Blue Grass (KGB), rye, and fescue should be mowed at 2.5-4” in height. This reduces lawn stress, diseases, and reduces weed growth. Only remove 1/3 of the grass blade height per mowing to reduce stress and disease.
